Duties: Oversee and make directive care management decisions for the six residents. Take vitals, oversee medicines, and consult with residents and their families. Oversee and manage the six caregiver/aides; train, encourage and correct as needed. Assist with hands-on-care of residents, working alongside caregiver aides. Daily over lunch time and as needed during on-site shift. Consultations with resident families and medical professionals to coordinate care. Administrative paperwork to support caregivers (staff schedule, timesheets, shower schedule, grocery inventory, medicine sign off, tour packets). Lead marketing tours for industry professionals and prospective families and residents. Assist owner with interviews of potential staff. Assist owner with evaluations of potential residents. Office management to keep Grand Living in compliance with State licensing requirements. Oversee property management/repairs, in conjunction with owner.
Schedule: 18 hours per week
On site: 16 hrs. 10:00am – 2:00pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Friday. (We offer occasional flexibility within this general timeframe.)
From home: 2 hrs (1hr. phone, 1 hr. electronic notes)
Commitment to accept phone calls from caregivers and management when healthcare decisions need immediate attention on behalf of a resident. Average phone time is 1 hr. each week.
Commitment to check electronic notes to keep a finger on the pulse (5 – 15 min. once daily)
Compensation: $19.00 per hour | one week paid vacation per year, available after six months of service plus one week of unpaid. Employer will pay for workman’s compensation and one half of Social Security and Medicare taxes. Provision of all meals and snacks during shift. Most Holidays and weekends off
Requirements: LPN or RN license and experience with elderly and managing caregivers. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Able to multi-task. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.

Provide (non-medical) personal care to six elderly residents residing at one large residential home. Work a 9.5 hr. shift each Monday (8:00am - 5:30pm), plus every other weekend: two half Saturdays and two half Sundays (5 hrs.) each month. May work alone or in conjunction with a second caregiver/or LPN. Pay rate begins a $10.00/hour.
Job Description: Prepare, serve and clean up after three meals and two snacks. Assist residents with dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring/mobility, eating and medication reminders. Assist one to two residents daily with their showers, dependent upon their weekly hygiene schedule. Complete laundry, housekeeping, and one daily social activity for residents. Any other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements: Must be over the age of 20. STNA or one year of experience preferred but not required. Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Able to multi-task. Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. Sufficient hearing to respond to the audio call button system and audio night monitoring system (if substituting in for an overnight shift). Willing to work partial weekends and two holidays each year.
