Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a Treatment Specialist (Youth Care Specialist), Level 1, to work with youth on their residential campus and assist in caring for a group of at-risk, special needs children, ages 6-18, under assigned supervision. Current available positions are predominantly second and third shift. Responsibilities include: acts as a positive role model; be responsible for meeting many basic physical and emotional needs of the residents, including providing supervision, limit setting, participating in weekly team meetings, social training, meal preparation, medical attention, hygiene training, clothing needs, creating a safe and orderly environment, and facilitating recreation; complete incident reports, logs, and other various forms; attend meetings and share observations about resident issues, such as peer problems, moods, preferences, sleep patterns, and family relationships. Applicants must be 21 and have a high school diploma/GED, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.   • Provide (non-medical) personal care to six elderly residents residing at one large residential home.
  • Work a 10.5 hour shift each Friday (7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.); plus one full Saturday and two half Sundays (5 hours per day) each month.

  • Prepare, serve and clean up after three meals and two snacks.
