Scott Krus

Scott Krus
Station Manager

Scott Krus is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute and studied Communications at Illinois Central College while holding various responsibilities at WPEO in Peoria. He worked for WUSN Radio in Chicago before being hired as the Station Manager of WBNH in Peoria, Ill., where he served for 16 years. 

Scott came to Moody Radio in 2008 as the Manager of Network Services and later held the title of Manager of Integrated Marketing. He and his wife, Kirsten, have two children, Tory Beth and Jon. 
   
  Alice Andrews
Office Administrator

As a native of northeast Ohio, Alice feels a closeness to Moody Radio listeners, referring to them as “our listening family."  Alice accepted Christ as her Savior in 1971 and joined the Moody Radio staff in 1974. She and her husband, Bob, were married in 1977.

When not at Moody Radio, you’ll find Alice and her husband volunteering at an area hospital or encouraging residents at assisted living and skilled care communities.

   
Paul Carter

Paul Carter
Operations Coordinator; Afternoon Announcer

Paul has been a part of Moody Radio since 1975. He grew up in northeast Ohio attending Central Christian High School and then Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. He began working for Moody Radio part-time as an announcer. After a few years at Moody Radio in Chattanooga, he returned to Moody Radio in Cleveland. Paul is currently the operations coordinator and afternoon announcer.

Paul and his wife Becky attended Moody Bible Institute where Paul earned a degree in Communications. They have three children, enjoy gardening and their grandchildren. They have a desire to pass on to the next generation what God has taught them by way of teaching Sunday School, men’s and women’s ministries and discipleship.

   
Brian Dahlen Brian Dahlen
Morning Program Host

Brian taught history at a public high school near Minneapolis, where he was co-host and producer of a weekly radio program. After teaching six years and graduating with a master's degree in education, Brian joined Moody Radio in Chicago. While working as a radio host, producer, and co-host of a weekly podcast, Brian also served as adjunct professor of communications at Moody Bible Institute. He is co-host of  Brian and Kathleen Mornings.  He lives with his wife and five children in Broadview Heights, Ohio.
   
Ron Eastwood

Ron Eastwood
Announcer

Ron is a life-long resident of Medina, Ohio with one exception.  For 18 months he "suffered" on the tropical island of Guam serving with Trans World Radio.  Ron graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Speech Communications and Broadcasting.  He has worked at nearly every instance of Christian radio in the market over the last 30 years, and has been a proud member of the WCRF staff since 2003.  

In addition to engineering Mornings with Brian and Kathleen, Ron spends the overnight hours moving boxes for a major shipping company (UPS).  Ron is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren (so far).

 

   
Kathleen Ferrini Kathleen Ferrini
Morning Program Host

Kathleen grew up in Cleveland and has been active in theatre and media for more than fifteen years. After graduating from Wright State with a fine arts degree, Kathleen moved to Chicago to study improvisation and comedy at the Second City Conservatory program. While in Chicago, Kathleen also studied in a creative writing program and worked with a variety of sketch comedy groups.  Kathleen is co-host of Brian and Kathleen Mornings.
   
Doug Hainer

Chief Engineer

After high school, Doug was challenged to go to Bible college to see what the Lord had for him. There he learned about missionary radio! Doug enrolled in electronics school, and several years later began serving the Lord on the island of Guam with Trans World Radio. 

His next assignment was at a Christian radio station in eastern Pennsylvania, where he met and married his wife, Penny. In 1990, the Lord led them to Cleveland, where Doug now serves as the chief engineer for Moody Radio WCRF and the four associated repeater stations. Doug and Penny have two daughters. 

   
Mike Reynolds

Mike Reynolds
Announcer

Mike's passion for music began at an early age and continued through his teen years. Mike went to Kent State University to become a recording engineer. Within the first few weeks after volunteering at the campus station and starting a Christian music show, his major was decided upon.

In addition to Mike’s part-time work at Moody Radio, he works at a Christian bookstore. He’s been a Christian since 1984, when he accepted Christ at a Petra concert. He met his wife Kelly in college.
