Mark landed a job at WUAB-TV where he did just about everything. He entered the advertising world in 1987 working at various area agencies. In February 1993, Mark was heard for the first time on Moody Radio Cleveland as a part-timer, and started hosting The Morning Program in 2000.

Mark lives in Lake County with his wife Wendy, three daughters, a large cat, and an active dog. Mark sings in the praise team at church, leads an adult Sunday School class and serves on the board of Building Hope in the City. With the entire Zimmerman family, Mark is very involved in the ministry of the Love & Hope Children’s Home in El Salvador.
