Each weekday from 2 to 3 p.m. is the time for encouragement on God At Work! Whether you’re hard at work, running midday errands, or busy around the house, host Jan Markowitz will keep you company and share the goodness of God.

The focus of each program is the life-changing transformation that comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jan’s guests relate their own story of faith, and how God worked in their lives to heal and to grow. She’ll also serve up inspirational Christ-centered music and encourage you with her bright perspective on life.

Host

Jan Markowitz was born in an Army hospital in Georgia on Veterans Day and later moved to Ohio with her family. Jan worked as a cosmetologist, church directory photographer, nurse assistant, fast-food store manager, but always felt that God was leading her to something yet to come.

A Christian radio station opened up a block from her home, she was trained on the job, and soon knew this was what God had been calling her to as she began playing Christian music and sharing the Gospel. Jan has worked for stations in Akron and Cleveland and started at Moody Radio Cleveland in 2003. Jan also travels around Ohio and Pennsylvania with her husband, Mark, as a conference speaker and soloist and ministers in local nursing homes.
